Spring and Summer 2008
So, now that Kasie has returned home to Colorado...what's next for our girl?
First and foremost is finding a new place to live...
she had been renting a condo/apartment which sold while she was in India and she now needs to find a new home for her and Baylee as soon as possible!
CONGRATS to Kasie, as of July 3, 2008, she now has a new place to call home for her and Baylee - and a yard!
She'll conitnue her physical therapy to keep her strong and progressing
Progress continues...she's continuing to see improvements in her sensations and her walking efforts.
She has been able to stand WITHOUT the aid of her calipers and balance within her walker. She was able to show Dr. Geeta Shroff and Dr. Ashish Verma , as well as an audience interested in Dr. Shroff's work in Stem Cell Research and Treatment in Las Vegas a few weeks ago while attending a medical conference .
She has had some additional feeling begin to return and has had some thigh movements and sensations.

She 's working as a nanny
She'll continue to promotoe stem cell therapy and awareness
We traveled to Las Vegas at the end of June to support Dr. Geeta Shroff's presentation of her work at the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. There were many doctors present, as well as people seeking information on stem cell treatment, as well as many of Dr. Shroffs patients who made the journey to support her work and give testimonials to the results they have been seeing/feeling in themselves as result of their treatment.
She'll be continuing her fundraising efforts to allow her to return to India for additional treatment
- hoping to return to India this fall - for another 30 days treatment
